Quality Assurance

At JLS, we are devoted to quality. We engage only experienced language professionals who are right for the assignment at hand. Our stringent QC process requires that all translations be reviewed in their entirety by separate editors who check for accuracy, consistency, and style. We carefully document and archive each step of the process for future reference. Our in-house staff combs each document carefully to ensure that elements like numbers and pagination are correct before the files are released to the client. We even encourage clients to have the final translation looked over by competent in–country representatives, who may have preferred terms for use in their local market.

For those documents going on to publication, bilingual proofers carefully check each step in the process to make sure that your specifications are observed, and that the final product looks its very best. Whether it be a simple adjustment of hyphenation, or more serious rewriting to fit tight layouts or appeal to specialized readership, the process is designed to ensure to meet the expectations of the target audience.
